How does it work?
-

Step 1: Consulation
It all starts with a quick hello. Once you contact us, weβll reply by email and ask for a few details about what youβre looking for β how youβd like to use the space, your gardenβs layout, and any early ideas you might have.
If youβre not yet sure what you want, no problem β we may suggest a visit to our showroom or a site visit at your property to help explore the possibilities.
From there, weβll create a preliminary proposal based on your input, complete with 3D design visuals and an initial price estimate β giving you a great sense of whatβs possible.
-

Step 2: Tailored Design & Detailed Quote
Once youβre happy with the concept, weβll arrange a site visit to take precise measurements and finalise the design together β this is also the perfect time to ask questions and review cladding choices, window styles, colours and finishes.
Weβll refine the 3D visuals based on your feedback until every detail feels just right.
A few days later, weβll send over your final, no-obligation quote, outlining all agreed specifications.
-

Step 3: Booking Your Build
If you'd like to go ahead, weβll book your project into our schedule with a Β£500 booking deposit.
We operate on a clear, staged payment structure:
40% deposit β due 4 weeks before the start date
30% interim payment β once the structure is up and watertight
30% final payment β upon completion
Our typical lead times range from 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the season and demand.
-

Step 4: Installation & Handover
Your garden room build begins on the agreed date β and from day one, our friendly and skilled team will take care of everything.
We usually complete projects in 2β3 weeks, including structural work, plastering, electrics, and decoration.
Once the site is cleared and your keys are handed over, all thatβs left for you to do is move in, make it yours, and enjoy your new space β built to last and ready for year-round use.
π‘ WHY CHOOSE CFM?
We donβt build sheds β we build mini houses.
At CFM, we design and build premium insulated garden rooms and outbuildings that feel like a true extension of your home.
Our structures are crafted using PUR SIPs (Polyurethane Structural Insulated Panels) β the same advanced technology used in high-performance modern homes.
These panels deliver exceptional strength and insulation while remaining relatively slim, giving you more usable internal space and generous height within the same footprint. Every wall, floor, and roof section locks together into a robust, airtight envelope β warm in winter, cool in summer, and quiet all year round.
Unlike traditional timber frames or lightweight garden buildings, our SIP systems meet building control standards, offering genuine residential-grade performance with U-values as low as 0.10 W/mΒ²K.
That means lower running costs, a more solid feel, and a space that truly lasts.
